For this project, we were tasked with creating an icon/avatar set that features 12 icons following a certain theme we were randomly assigned. I got Marvel superheroes, so I made the avatar set have a lot of movement and action within it. It also had to follow the grid pattern shown above the characters. With the characters having thicker outlines and the avatar background showing movement and action through the dynamic paint splat patterns, these avatars really demonstrate the look and feel of the superhero genre. These icons would work great for a Marvel-themed website, app, or video game.
