For this assignment, we were tasked with creating a travel poster that featured a style reminiscent to more classical art styles. I chose to do Tokyo, Japan in the Bauhaus style, while incorporating a bit of Futurism into it as well. I believe that this works great, as Tokyo is a city that prides itself in emphasizing the future while not forgetting the past. I tried to emphasize this idea by incorporating a classical Japanese feel to some aspects of the poster, while bringing up current areas of interest. It all comes together to make a poster with a memorable look.
